Because it would be easier to read letters without diacritics, rather than a symbol that is being used because there are no diacritics available, replacing those letters would definitely make sense. The application works on Windows XP and all later editions, up to Windows 10. Its components can be extracted from a ZIP archive, after which you can run the software right away, without going through an installation process. Removing diacritics is a straightforward process. All you have to do is select the folder where you have your subtitle files, select the appropriate options in one of the top menus and click a button to start replacing. By default, the application works with Romanian diacritics, but you can set up your own character lists on a separate window. Creating a list doesn't involve anything more than typing the letter you want to replace, as well as the one you want to replace it with.
